Yaxin is a consultant at the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. She works with the Inclusive Business team to support companies that engage base of the pyramid markets to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Previously, she worked with the World Resources Institute on forest finance, and with UNEP, WWF on freshwater conservation. Yaxin believes long-term success in sustainable development can be more effectively achieved when it is science-applied, government-enabled, private sector-catalyzed, civil society-supported. She graduated from Cornell University with MPA concentrating in sustainable finance, and from Peking University with B.A. degrees in Sociology and Economics.
