Dr Lu is in charge of the Green Supply Chain and Climate Change program, and also working on the pollution prevention project and international cooperation and conferences of SEE Foundation. Yao studied at Minzu University of China and Yale University for a joint-doctoral program, received a PhD in Ethnoecology, and she graduated from Ocean University of China with B.A. degrees in Marine Ecology. Yao spent years on research about the relationships between the environment and ethnic minority groups. She conducted fieldwork and surveys in ethnic minority regions across China. Yao has great passion and enthusiasm for environmental protection.
