Madeleine is a proactive promoter of equality for women in education and academia. She is a graduate of Geology (MSci) at the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College London and alumna of the Fulbright/U.S. State Department ‘Study of the U.S. Institute on Environmental Issues’ at the University of Oregon.
