PhD Candidate, Arizona State University
American-Israeli, living in Flagstaff, Arizona, U.S.A.
Following a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Water Resources Engineering, Noa spent several years in industry developing environmental sensors for water quality, soil moisture, agriculture, and weather stations. In an endless pursuit to broaden horizons, she decided to supplement her engineering career with a PhD in the social sciences. She now studies public engagement with environmental issues, and her dissertation involves perceptions of natural resource extraction. A first-generation American, Noa likes to take advantage of the diverse landscapes of the US. When not conducting research, she can be found whitewater rafting the rivers of the American West.
