Dame Jane Morris Goodall, an avid supporter of our women’s leadership initiative, shares a message of inspiration and hope.

As the expedition comes to a close, our 188 voyaging women are reflecting on the effects of climate change,  the wonders of Antarctica, and how they can collaboratively make a difference to the sustainability of the planet.

Inspired by each other, these incredible women received a personal message from Jane Goodall, a world-renowned English primatologist and anthropologist passionate about protecting and conserving the world we share.

In the message, Jane was encouraged by the willingness of our women leaders to act not only individually but as a group, to try and solve the most important issues facing our planet.

“You’re the type of leaders who can make a difference, and you can inspire others to get involved. Together, we can make this world a better place,”  Jane Goodall said.

We are truly honoured to receive such a heartfelt message from Jane. Hear the response from the Homeward Bound community here:

Our Alumnae will carry it with them now and into the future.
