The Board is excited to announce the appointment of Pamela Sutton-Legaud as the new CEO of Homeward Bound.
Pamela will join the team from 4 October 2021 and will lead the next phase of expansion and growth of this incredible leadership initiative, founded by Fabian Dattner along with Dr Justine Shaw and Prof Mary-Anne Lea.
Fabian will step down as voluntary CEO of Homeward Bound at the end of September 2021. She will continue to be involved with the initiative as Visionary Founder, leading the program’s Busara Circle, working with its coaching community, and as a member of the Board.
We wish to acknowledge and thank her for her extraordinary achievements in getting Homeward Bound to this point, and for the incredible contribution of the faculty, coaching community and our many donors and supporters.
As the first full-time CEO of Homeward Bound, Pamela will focus on ensuring the purpose, strategy and values of Homeward Bound are front and centre and pursued to meet the objectives set by the Board.
This includes:
· Growing and supporting a global community of 10,000 women leaders with a background in STEMM by 2036
· Engaging and coordinating the collective of founders, stream leaders and faculty to deliver transformative, high quality and unique programs, with measurable impacts, delivered by a global, diverse faculty of experts
· Operationalising Homeward Bound’s new strategic plan
· Building relationships with potential funders and partners.
Pamela has an impressive track record in the not-for-profit sector in Australia with Plan International, as CMO/CEO of Bush Heritage Australia and Executive Director of the Zoos Victoria Foundation. Most recently, she was Principal Consultant at AskRIGHT, providing strategic fundraising advice to the not-for-profit sector including charities, universities, and schools.
I am pleased to share a video introducing Pamela to Homeward Bound and hope you will join me in welcoming her onboard.
